Aurora Eiendom AS is a Norwegian real estate company that owns a chain of shopping centres. Envizual was tasked with producing a series of headshots for Aurora’s board members at the Nordic Choice Headquarters in central Oslo, Norway.
Petter A. Stordalen
Petter Stordalen is a high-profile Norwegian investor and businessman, best known for his ownership of Nordic Choice Hotels. Stordalen also has extensive experience in shopping center operations. He was involved in developing Steen & Strøm from 1991 and was one of the cornerstone investors in Sektor together with Varner and Johannson, before the company was sold to Citycon in 2015.
Marius Varner
Varner is the CEO and chairman of the board of Varner, one of Norway's largest retail groups. Varner has an annual turnover of over 10 Billion NOK and consists of well-known store concepts such as Bik Bok, Carlings, Cubus, Dressmann and Volt.
Marius and his two brothers Petter and Joakim were cornerstone investors in Sektor (27%) together with Petter Stordalen and Johan Johannson before the company was sold to Citycon in 2015.
Johan Johannson
Johan Johannson and his family own 74% of NorgesGruppen, Norway's largest grocery group with annual turnover of over 90 Billion NOK. NorgesGruppen has well-known grocery chains such as Kiwi, Meny, Spar and Joker. Johannson is also a major real estate player, with the portfolio including one of Oslo's leading shopping centers, ALNA Senter. He was one of the cornerstone investors in the Sector (31%) before the company was sold to CityCon in 2015.
Lars Løseth
Løseth is regarded as one of the country's leading experts in shopping center operations. He established stores and chain stores in the 1970s and 80s before moving to malls. He eventually became best known as the founder of the Amfi chain. Løseth and family own 40% of Alti Forvaltning AS, which manages around 30 shopping centers in Norway, including Aurora Eiendom's portfolio.
